Teaching Philosophy

As a junior high Social Studies teacher my teaching philosophy is such that I must continually strive to make learning interesting, but more importantly accessible to all my students. In order to help make learning interesting and accessible I must ensure that the teaching lessons I am developing will address the learning, teaching, and assessing that is necessary for meeting the lesson’s intended educational objectives. That means I must continuously employ various differentiated learning strategies that will ensure that learning is going to reach the widest intended student audience. My philosophy is that by designing instruction and delivering instruction to best reach each student, I as a teacher can rest more secure knowing that I am helping a higher percentage of student learning needs to be met.
